8050A Bi-Amplified Monitoring System:

Capable of producing peak SPL of over 120dB per pair, and with a low frequency response extending down to 35Hz, the 8050A is a powerful wideband bi-amplified monitoring system. It is an excellent tool for large recording studios, broadcast and surround installations, mastering suites and TV and post-production houses.

The sophisticated low level active crossover has versatile controls for matching the monitor to difficult acoustic environments. Dedicated very low distortion amplifiers power the drivers, with overload protection for each driver.

The stiff, volume efficient MDE™ (Minimum Diffraction Enclosure™) enclosure and long, curved, flow optimized reflex port combined with low distortion drivers provide solid, clear, low frequencies with a minimum of compression, distortion and port noise artefacts. The gently curved sided and front MDE™ enclosure and advanced Genelec Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW™) provide exceptionally smooth on and off axis frequency responses, precise imaging and optimal directivity across the whole audio spectrum.

Mounting of the 8050A is easy using the included Iso-Pod™(Isolation Positioner/Decoupler™) which eliminates coloration of the sound by decoupling the monitor from its mounting surface. The monitor can be tilted on the Iso-Pod™ to point the acoustic axis directly at the listening position. Other mounting options are possible using the integrated mounting point on the rear of the enclosure, or the M10 threaded hole on its base.

7070A Active Subwoofer:

Genelec 7070 Active Subwoofer is powerful and precise bass monitoring tool for modern 6.1 or 5.1 channel Surround Sound or traditional stereo systems. With its 19 Hz lower cut-off frequency, high sound pressure output capability and versatile bass management systems, it can be adapted to all low frequency monitoring situations.

The amplifier unit integrated into the cabinet contains active crossover filters, driver overload protection circuits and power amplifiers. The in-built bass management unit has six signal input and output channels, summed signal output connectors and LFE input equipped with a selectable 85/120 Hz lowpass filter and a 0 / +10dB LFE sensitivity switch.

The Genelec Laminar Spiral Enclosure™ (LSE™) bass reflex cabinet is made of a sheet metal rolled into a spiral shape and clamped between thick MDF side panels. This new construction technique provides excellent laminar flow characteristics with minimal turbulence noise and enables an optimal packing of a very long reflex tube into a small space.

1032A Bi-Amplified Monitoring System:

The Genelec 1032A is a two-way active monitoring system including magnetically shielded drivers, speaker enclosure, multiple power amplifiers and active low signal level crossover. Due to its compact size , this system is ideal for high power near field monitoring. Furthermore, it is well suited to general purpose broadcasting applications, TV control rooms, mobile vans and CD mastering as well as home studios.

The unique Directivity Control Waveguide™ (DCW ™) Technology used provides excellent stereo imaging and frequency balance even in difficult acoustic environments. Versatile crossover controls allow for precise matching of the speaker system to different acoustic conditions.

The system is very easy to use as only mains power and line level input signal are needed.

A rack mount adapter is available so that the amplifier section can be positioned separately from the cabinet when flush mounting. This allows for better & easier amplifier cooling and easier access to the Tone Control DIP switches during in-room system calibration.
